Hey mate, I've just moved to Wimborne a months ago. I think the lake you mean is Whitemoor lakes. It does have fish to 30lb but it also has alot of small fish. I fished a night and had nothing above 6/7lb and ended up reeling in at midnight.... I haven't managed to find get round to exploring many more but Longham lake looks interesting but tough....

Hi mate, I'm moving to Bournemouth in a month or so, I've had a look round the and there seems to be quite a few decent lakes around the area. If you have a look at Ringwood angling club's website or Christchurch's website, they have a few good waters with some big fish. Hope this helps

Peg 13 is on the far bank, just between the 2 islands. I forgot to mention, there are alot of small fish in there which can be a nuisance. I've only fished oak lake once and that was when the carp were spawning. It is a good lake if you wanna catch a few though. When you get there speak to the baliff Chris, he's the man in the know

Hi mate, I've fished there a few times, they have some nice fish. Your best bet is to fish with only a bit of bait, they seem to spook off big beds. Peg 13-15 is the most popular, there are a few bars around which are worth fishing to. Hope that helps.

I really like the Gardner hooks, the Talon tips and the Inizors are particular favourites. Never had any problems with either. Some of the esp's have opened up on me before I have heard some bad things about the Korda hooks so I tend to avoid them

A pic would be nice thanks mate. We're fishing on the Specimen lake for 48 hours. My old man spent an afternoon there a week ago and landed 3 doubles. Quite windy apparently!! I think I may have a go at those cats...........

Has anyone heard of or fished Coking Farm in Dorset? I'm fishing there at easter for the first time and wondered if anyone had fished it before. Thanks guys.
