no not at all, just means ur mainline should go before your hook length so make sure you use a safe rig so if it does go the fish isn't trailing a lead around until the next time its caught why dont you tie your own?

a pva bag will usally do the trick, i always use them and have never had that problem. and i only make rigs the same length as bags now.
