    hi mate,depends on what you mean by a runs water? if you mean you want a few runs,try river farm os carrow row.if you want to venture further out,romsey way,try longbridge!!!

    i have fished france for the past 5 years aswell as a guide over there,so i know france quite well.i was just wondering if any of you know anywhere where i can take the mrs,was looking for a lake with a gite/caravan ect..... hope you can help us??

    well strange one that i have fished there loads of times and fished it for about 15 years now,and never heard of pike in longbridge?? were you snagged?

    its a lake near le mans,normandy. i worked there as guide for about 4 years,and always go back for a catch up.if you have ever watched lake escapes with matt hayes on discovery,its the french lake.you will never blank as i reckon its the best runs wateer in france.if youre interested let me :know mate,i will pass on some details. the average carp is 25lb,and no weed,poisson chat or snags.

    what a shame mate.i fished it about 4 weeks ago,and only caught a few.i found that single hook baits work well,bright pop ups,balenced with fake corn,with a small pva bag works great!! carrow row is a little bit easier,but dont give up on funtley,its a great water

    i decided to take the mrs to france last week for a few days,and wow did she do well!!!..she caught a 40lb miiror,37lb and another six around 2olb!! and she wants to go back!!..i thoroughly ecommend this lake..its a real runs water,with the average around 30 plus,and the biggest in the high 50 s

    if you think broadlands is too hard james,why dont you fish longbridge mate!!,you should get plenty of runs there mate!.broadlands is a great water,especially now it has new owners,and if its so bad,why are they holding the uk carp championships there???....its a lake for carp anglers

    you should get plenty of carp buddy,just remember,keep things simple,and if fishing at the island,get as close as you can

    try carrow row mate,but need to get a ticket from hansfords.they are well stocked ,lakes,and are in titchfield.also about 2 mins away is river farm,which is a day ticket and you can night fish there too.just pay the man when you get there theres some nice fish in there too

    where do you start mate,loads of good fishing near romsey!!..if you want a runs water,try longbridge lake,greenridge farm and timsbury manor.if you want to catch bigger carp and looking for a bigger and more challenging water,try broadlands!!..i went there recently and done well!!..if you got a bait boat,thats an advantage

    its a great fishery mate,i always keep things simple,and you can catch anywhere there.i always use pellet on a hair,and if the fish are feeding confidently,try using dog biscuit on the top.you will have a great time there,and expect loads of action!!!...tight lines!!!

    hiya matey,i am joining test valley again,after about 3 years fishing other waters and clubs.i highly recommend test valley as its a very well run club with loads of choices of venues.i am currently with portsmouth club,but wont be joining again as its not the best club i have ever joined!!!!
