  1. Hi all I've been using Hybrid for my stripped coated braid rigs for quite a while now and although i've had no real problems with it i fancy a change to a coated braid with a stiffer coating. I've tried a 'proper' combi rig (IQ and Sink braid) but feel more confident with a stripped rig on the rods. Question is what coated braid would you suggest that is stiffer than the Hybrid?? Wurz
  2. I like to use the D-rig for my floro and mono hooklengths, i've tried a few hooks but found the ESP stiff-rigger II or the drennan boilie hook to be the most reliable. Wurz
  3. I use it for my canal fishing with good results, in the clearer water i put a HBS superstench 16mm pop-up over an 18mm MTX bottom bait, when the water gets a bit muggy i go for a matching MTX pop-up. You seem to get better hook holds with balanced baits like this and as they are fairly large baits it can sometimes pick out the better fish (allthough i did get a 2lb tench pick up a 16mm and 18mm set up ) Wurz
