Fox do some pretty good gear. I don't know who makes their hooks. But my experience of Fox hooks has been very disappointing. Carp hooks that straighten out and pike trebles that snap. I won't even try any new patterns sold under the Fox name now.

carp_king, the use of barbless hooks has been banned on some of the larger carp fisheries(e.g. CEMEX) because of the damage they can inflict to the fishes mouth through multiple hook-ups. Microbarbed every time for me.
