  5. Thanks to all for the interest, we have now filled the syndicate for this year. Thanks again, Fosterd.
  6. Lol. I just couldnt see it at first, thanks for pointing it out though, gave me a chance to put it right. Thanks for the appology, wasnt expecting that. Tight lines. P.s. Im 100% sure the big girl is well over 30 but wanted to avoid the usual crap that comes with it, might aswel have just said said it was a deffo now. lol
  7. My appoligies, i just couldnt see where the play on words bit was, having read it a few times now, i can see where you are coming from. Belive me, it is no clever play on words although i do works in sales lol. If i was that good with wording i think i'd be much further ahead in my career!! Once again, for the record, There are 35 Carp in total, of these 35 Carp at least 10 are 20+ with the biggest being a near 30lb.
  8. A play on words!!! My intention was to give enough information as i could without waffling on. For those that maybe missunderstood, there are around 35 Carp altogether, at least 10 of which are 20lb or over. Please dont mistake my poor schooling for someone trying to be a blagger. Thanks to Stoogi who read it like i meant it. I would have replied sooner had i seen the replies to the thread. Why are people so synicle?? We have maybe two places left to fill on the syndicate, if anyone is interested then please pm me as i dont want my replies pulled inside out. Thanks, Fosterd
  9. If anyone is interested in joining a new 16 man syndicate on a small water near to Moorgreen Reservoir in Nottingham, the lake contains 35 Carp to nearly 30lb and at least 10 20s. There are a few places left due to people backing out, for more info please contact me by pm.
  10. Hi mate, I moved to Notts in Jan but spent 2 years in Sheffield working in Crystal Peaks. I found it really hard to get any info while I was there but i did manage to find a couple of good places. Neither are particularly easy bt the rewards are there and they dont cost the earth. PM me and i will tell you what i know, i know how hard it is to find anything out around there.
  11. Alright mate, I have just moved from Nottingham in Jan, there are a few decent waters around there, the fish arnt massive and finding a thirty is tricky(i didnt find any anyway). Colwick park west lake is a good twenties water with a couple of thirties thrown in, not my kind of place though, i will let you make your own mind up about it. The trent has quite a few carp in it, you have to find em, this i found quite tricky as i dont like to fish the more popular places, each to their own i say though. My favourite place though is the finger ponds at holme pierpont, bit tricky to find and you now need a key to get to the lake but, its really quiet, vaery vaery carpy to look at, every swim has features, too many in fact, took me ages to get a fish from their but when i did they just kept coming, not big, i think the bigger ones in there grew legs and found themselves in other lakes, this seems to happen quite alot around there un fortunately. I think its a notts anglers water and a ticket doesnt cost much, i love the place, give it a go. Hope that helps mate, if you want any tips on the place pm me and i will see what i can do.
