sorry for being a noob but is leadcore used as an alterative to flying backleads and do you tie your line to the leadcore then tie the leadcore to your rig?

ive been useing 14mm boilies with size 8 hook i have about 1cm from the boilie to the hook. i also have put a rubber on the hook shank. not had one carp come off

^^^^ yep totally agree make your own. also works out cheaper in the long run

i think it implise that the fish hooks itself when it bolts. but thats my theory
