    Is he from Essex? Can’t remember his name but I met an ex police officer from Essex, has 2 dogs one a rescue, if the same person he is now on E lake.

    Thanks looking forward to fishing again, sadly at the wrong time of the year though. I expect a struggle over winter but prepared to stick it out. Nothing big in D lake in today’s terms but 5 over 30 with a good head of 20s. That’s good enough to keep me happy.

    Fished in the 1980s and 1990s but stopped fishing due to work and other commitments. Now retired and bought a lodge on Waveney Valley D lake. Thankfully kept all of my tackle . Happy days
