Newbie post here so go easy 🤗
I'm currently using greys prodigy 1.75 rods with baitrunner dl reels.
I can't get used to stiff action carp rods and I fish predominantly on 2-3 acre carp lakes so casting g huge distances isn't an issue.
The greys have handled fish upto 26 pounds & served me for countless trips and 2 pilgrimages to redmire (blanks I must admit but that's not the point is it😂)and am delighted with them but feel a slightly beefier pair of rods is on horizon.
I'm attracted to the torrix 2 pound specialist rods.
Has anyone had any experience of them?
