thanks for the reply levigsp I guess my first thought is, is it even remotely worth my while doing this? If it's only going to bring in a few quid maybe not.... Do you have an idea of a ballpark figure, for a monthly rent? £20/month?! £200/month?! £20,000/month?!!! (i wish!) Many thanks

Hi folks, looking for advice. I have a small lake, approx 2/3 acre in East Sussex, which I know contains carp as I have seen them! It's very picturesque, quiet and private, in it's own field. Do people rent out fishing lakes privately? I could only offer it to one person or a small group of friends, and access would have to be within strict parameters (no night fishing, no guests without prior permission) Can anyone advise if they have heard of this type of arrangement, and what the going rate might be? I guess i'd be looking for a monthly rental payment. I'd be very grateful for your thoughts
