1chris1
hiya lads,i have been to one of my local coarse fishing ponds, watermill farm, i used to carp rods both on the same rigs as i use at fish pond farm, the only thing i did different was i used a groundbait feeder instead of a lead.the only bait that i put out was the breadcrumb and corn in the feeder.i only had one.it was about 6lb,i did not bother takeing a pic as it was in bad condition. Â ths swim i fished. Â Â Â chris

maplex909
Lovely fish there Chris, Nice to see the weather is not stopping you!! Â Just a idea, you talk ab out larger fish, rather than fake corn you could try larger baits like, halli pellett (16+mm) dipped in marmite. works great down here for larger carp. 1chris1
thanks mate,i will try that when i next go cos i have a bag of 16mm hali pellets some wear lol. Â chris
iambunn
Another quick tip for you mate, if the red spots are where you are fishing to from the swim you are taking the picture from, you should try and point your rods more towards the spots. Works wonders for indication and may get you an extra fish or two onto the bank

josh_reynolds
Ia ll your pics your fishing to the far margin, what about trying mid-way in the deeper water, you might find the bigger fish are hanging around down there
1chris1
cheers for that lads.never tryed in the middle, always to the far margin cos i got told by the owner it was realy good. Â chris
iambunn
Yeah you should definately give the middle a go with at least one rod, if you're catching in a certain place though, don't change it just for the hell of it! Â Nice little diary though, keep it coming

85rob
allso keep an eye on the margins eitherside of your peg, the majority of anglers ive seen have put their left over bait in as they're packing up. keep up the good work. Small pva bags should be fine enough.
