138cgj
Just bought an air powered boilie gun, well its a mastic gun really and runs at a maximum of 10psi or so. Has anyone tried this type of thing? i need to convert it slightly so its not perfect at the minute but id like some info if anyone has tried this before? fishingaddict
Not sure what you mean exactly but if you are choosing a gun for extruding boilie mix then go for the £45 one from Gardner. THe cheaper version is rubbish as to many mixes are far to stiff for it to work at all. I think its called the XT deluxe or something??? Trust me I found out the hard way!!! 138cgj
sorry, yeah i can see why when i read post again. It connects to a compressor and its supposed to be for tradesmen etc who use mastic/silicone regularly. I got it to use for bait making,to make it easier. I have the standard gardner gun and assumed the 'deluxe' would still be as tough to extrude sausages? its a bit much when your doing 10kg a time!! welshcarp1985
i know what your talking about, your probably getting the mixture passing the disc that pushes it out. So all you need to do is take the one that is on there off, replace with one of exact size. Then it should work a treat
138cgj
know wot u mean but didnt know you could change discs actually? ill have to have a look. I cant remember seeing any residue in the cannister though after ive knocked a mix out so....
