infra
What should it smell like?
tonybranno
Activ8
salokcinnodrog
Activ8 Thats not a cheeky reply as Mainline don't use flavours in their baits Active8 is Active8 and although I've not used it (I won't use Mainline unless I can help it) it is a pretty good bait if fished properly
elmovillan
Its an excellent bait, although unlike other mainline baits I could never get it established as the primary food source on our local lake, but it was what we used to call a 'instant hitter'. Fished with a two-bait stringer or a handfull of pellet, we would very often get a take where others were struggling. Smell wise, tonybranno's right....its an Active8 smell! infra
You've missed the point. My freezer stuff smells a bit funny and I've never used it before. Sort of like whiffy bacon and I was wondering if that's normal or if it has started to go off before the tackle shop froze it.
wilfster
smell is a very personal thing and hard to discribe from one to another, but............ i think it smells like a mixture of coffee and dog food.
elmovillan
Do you have anything else in the freezer that might have left a stronger smell on the Active8? If not, it might just be your interpretation of what it smells like? If it is'nt a obnoxious pong, why not take some and try it out?

Sounds about right, when we kept Activ8 in the Bait freezer at work it had that sort of smell
