tnuc
take it your adding this to 1 kg patshull park base mix does the base mix contain robin red ? as 50 grams in some mixes is high as this will cause it to crack/split or try 300 grams Fishmeal 200 grams Semolina / or maize 100 grams Pre-digested Fishmeal 100 grams Acid Casein 100 grams Soya Flour 100 grams lamb milk/or the milk powder that body builders use 100 grams clo or sim u can change the amounts here and there but do try to use atlest 2 types of fishmeal as one will be lacking in some thing, ie diff fats and proteins then you start adding: liver powder, kelp powder, glm with these it will give your bait a better boost as well as givin a better profile ,,but thats where the fun starts keep flavour levels low adding vitiamins will help the fish so helpping you in the long run and grab your self a book called the beekay guide to carp baits its the carp bible ( well close if there is one )

But i would reduce the n-butyric acid to 0.25ml.. or even less,,Its powerful stuff!! Its a fact carp love bp and 6 drops is about right , but i would start on 4 drops and take it from there
tonybranno
You can use the n-butyric acid upto 1ml (24 drops) per 500g of dry mix if you wanted though. But i would only do that if the acid was the only smell/label in your bait.
