Now, the adverts I've seen is for a 'Cyprinus Base' but I keep seeing references online to a 'Cyprinus Base HQ' - is it the same thing, or is the HQ a different or better model? Cheers! The base essentially doesnt have the vents. The base hq had the vents. Ive got a base 2 man and picked it up for approx £150 with a winter skin. bobthetrain Posted April 4, 2021 Author Report Share Posted April 4, 2021 Cheers pal. I've bought the 1 man Base (with overwrap). I think it's 'OK'. There's no way it's a re-badged Aqua though. The poles, pegging points etc are fairly low quality, in my opinion, but in reality are probably up to the job. However if something breaks there customer service is top notch . I broke the block on my typhoon storm bivvy(totally my fault as i found out after watching the setup vid on youtube) they sent a new block out no questions asked within 2 days.
