It's just over an acre in size, never had many birds on there, although there is a resident pair of coots. Alot of silver fish were removed when it was drained about a decade ago. Although I'm told there's alot of young carp coming through, it's due to be drained again in Jan, to grade them out. That's almost put me off putting out corn and maggot. finchey Posted December 27, 2019 Report Share Posted December 27, 2019 Well I went today and I took the son of a family friend along, I blanked and my fishing mate for the day not only caught he caught one of the illusive mirrors 8lb 7oz that hardly ever give there selfs up.
