I've not seen nor heard from him a long time mate, since he disappeared off here, shame really as he was a really decent bloke

hopefully going  to bayeswater again tomorrow evening for an overnight.....but we shall see

I gave it to a mate in the end, he fixed it. He needed a brolly or bivvy so since he is terminally ill with emphysema, I figured he could get it sorted.

 

I did manage an overnighter last Saturday, had a number of fish on floating baits as well as a couple on the bottom between us, but past few days been spent banging my head against the sluices at Nazeing

Had a really good morning today, caught 5 wrasse and a pollock. I'm now getting the carp gear ready for tomorrow morning. I spoke to a friend who was fishing down there yesterday and he said 2 carp were caught by someone further down the bank. So hopefully I might be in for a chance of a carp from the canal

I went for a quick overnighter...lost my only fish due to knot failure.  Kicking myself for that one. 

Now my car's broken down on the way home and in waiting for a tow truck.
