ouchthathurt
We had a breeze coming off the land so over my shoulder and out to sea. This mark sits within two harbour arms which flattens the sea somewhat, but it was rather calm. I’m much happier being out in the fresh air, I spent 13yrs in the army, so don’t mind a bit of cold weather - no such thing as bad weather, only bad choice of clothing! framey and crusian 1

Love my new rod, my new reel arrived but not had chance to load with line yet, it does look like the dogs dangleys can't wait to use it. 😁👍 emmcee
ouchthathurt
I blanked unfortunately mate! The mark I wanted was taken by a match being held, the lad on the peg I wanted managed a few plaice - my target, but it was good to get out and flex the beach rods again! emmcee and finchey

So far, had the 2 for myself, little ens rod just gone back out when he woke up. My left hand 7 wraps out, right hand just before tip of tree, had 1 on each so far. Little ens just before tip of tree, few liners so far, both fishing semi slack running rigs. The bivvy has done well, got both our beds in, ample room. Be a good spacious bivvy for just 1 on a long session. commonly, finchey, B B and 2 others

Last two trips have been utterly biteless down here No mate it was a blank for me, I did stick with big lug and squid baits on pully rigs because there's still the odd cod coming out. A couple of mates were out with me they were on small baits and hooks and managed a dab and and a couple whiting between them. It was unbelievably cold but it great too be out. Can't wait for this Wednesday night, we are out again, Wednesday nights are becoming a regular thing I'm loving it. ouchthathurt and emmcee
ouchthathurt
out again today having another dabble, been fishing slow down my way, lug/squid baits cast long on 1/0 2 hook clipped down rigs didn’t do a bite, but under arm flicking a size 1 2hook flapper baited with tiny lug (down the side of the sea wall) produced a rockling - first bite in the last 3 sessions. finchey and emmcee
