Ddgx Posted February 14, 2016 Report Share Posted February 14, 2016 Feeling rather chuffed with myself today for several reasons, first time out this year, first fish landed on an essential baits b5, and first ever river carp. Not enormous around 8lb but only my second visit here. The one I landed was the second run, having hooked the first run for about 3 seconds and then had it come off. I was gutted after that and thought I'd definitely blown it for the day.... But I was wrong! God dam have you ever seen an average looking fish in your net? I bet not Lol but seriously, what a beaut. Congrats! As for my own catch report, back at the river today and bagged my 1st double fig river fish. 13.7lb. Extremely pleased! Watched it feeding over my hookbait for a good 5 minutes before the run too so was super exciting.
