Nighttime Shots

Hello everyone, after a little bit of advice about taking pictures at night. I have the nikon D3200 camera and I'm struggling to take a good nighttime fish shot. Im getting allot of glare back off the fish, I'm guessing this is going from darkness straight to a flash from the camera, we've tried using head torches and things. What I'm wondering is there was some form of attachment that fits on the camera that acts as light/torch that gives a consistent light before the flash kicks in? Any help would be much appreciated, thanks.

I saw elsewhere someone mention Adam Penning talking about what he has been using recently.

Here's a post from his Facebook, where he mentions it.

Haven't tried it myself but may have a look at picking one up myself.

Otherwise, you're probably better with an external flash and diffuser to reduce the harshness of the light.
