Well just back from a 48 hr session armed with 4 gallons of maggots between me and my mate , by 6 o'clock Friday I had a 17 mirror and a 31 common on the bank in the night Pete lost one and landed a 15 lb pike that proceeded to try and eat the landing net and anything else that got near her . Saturday morning produced 15 and 25 lb commons for Pete .

From loosing count of how many fish we saw rolling and crashing the lake seemed to switch off Saturday lunchtime and Sadly we caught no more after a cracking start , but very happy with the 31 as it up's my PB by a lb

had 6 to low 20s last weekend 30th to 1st so i guess that qualifies, sadly no photo's tho as i couldnt seem to be bothered

using up all my half bags of boilies and a groundbait that i cobbled together it was a good result for the lake as its the hardest one on our club books, friday started off at lunchtime, had the rods in place early and spodded over them at regular intervals (one every half hour or so). had two in the net by dusk, three the next day and the biggest by far just as i packed up on sun, result :P:mrgreen:

Currently having a great session at the syndicate.

Got here yesterday after work around 3ish. Had the rods out for around half hour or so and the middle rod pulled tight and I had a 22lb mirror on the end. Just after returning it the right hand rod went of and a 29lb mirror graced my net. I was amazed and so happy.

Then it got dark and cold,at 10pm I had a couple of bleeps on the right rod again (fishing tight clutch) struck into it and it felt heavy. After a good battle a new pb at 31.7lb mirror beating my previous by a lb was in my cradle! I was going to sleep a happy man.

At 4am I was woken up again to my right hand rod! This time a 27.3 mirror was in the cradle. To say I was cold when playing this was a understatement.

The today arrived, feeling optimistic. But then this powerful wind come in and was hammering me all day. I did manage to get a 14lb mirror on the bank at half 4 though! Got 1 night left!

Photos sent the best as my actual camera run out of battery!!

Not long back from 48hr session at cutons lakes (A12 lakes) on the specimen 2 lake had 5 fish and one lost but nothing big at all 12lb 8oz being the biggest but considering I had a stinking cold, so really was struggling to even fish I'm not to disappointed was just nice to have a few runs but must admit I don't think I will ever go with a cold again it was hard work and I don't do hard work lol
