salokcinnodrog
How do you secure your brolly/ shelter in the winter when the ground is frozen solid? Any suggestions? Cheers Definitely not a mallet for me, I'll stick to T pegs, Nash, Chub or whatever, cheaply available on ebay. Screw them in, will also go through into very hard stony ground. http://www.nashtackle.co.uk/products/view/stealth-t-pegs
buzzbomb
I have something like this plus a smaller one, and they come with T anchors to screw into the solid ice on the lake. I don't use them, but don't throw them away either. To stick the tent down I use a cordless impact driver and 6" lag bolts, brrrrrpppppp.
