I'm always organised, to the state last trip I left my scales at home and couldn't find my stove. I'd packed it into my rucksack and it had somehow gotten into my smock pocket under the protective flap and through the  gap where the zip pocket wasn't quite closed.

The scales had been moved into my pike fishing bag, and I forgot to put them back in the rucksack.

I do actually take my metal sugar and coffee containers from home. Screw on lids so I don't end up with a mess everywhere.

You won't regret the x spod much better than a spomb

I got 2 spombs which I’ve found never had to buy one, my last one I purchased was the Nash Dote spod which took a liking to a tree.. it liked it so much it didn’t want to come down. Got a Korda one again which I found if you needed to be a bit stealthy that’s the one to used you could literally kiss the lake the surface of the lake with hardly a ripple.

Got these heavy duty polythene bags off the bay. I have been using zip and seal sandwich bags for my camera but they were a bit flimsy and after a couple of openings, the opening flap tended to rip. These seem really sturdy and the Velcro really seals it. I've used the other 2 for my power-pack and LED light so they aren't wasted.

I've just done something amazing!

I had to go into Ipswich town centre for some benefits stuff, and thought while I was there pop into https://bexbaitandtackle.co.uk/ just to see the new shop in Sailmakers. Courtesy demanded I make a purchase, so just a pack of Gardner PVA bags for £3.15.

1/10th of my usual tackle shop spend.

Ooh a new tackle shop to check out ! .

Didn't Bex. have a small unit in the Shopping Centre near BHS at one time ? 🤔 .
