Just hit the buy button on a new set of Delkims and receiver, staying with red, green and white to match my Titanium heads . One way of spending my first month's wages after the necessities are taken care of.

Get 'em cancelled and get a set of purples!! 👾💜🔮, mine just arrived look how carpy these beauties are 😉

The purple is slightly deeper to the naked eye actually - compared to on the camera.

I'd have probably gone stereotypical red white blue if I was getting a 3 set in all honesty.

Either way, definitely smart picking up Delks now if you're in the market, no telling when they will do another sale, could be in 10 years time.

I've gotten so used to red, white and green from left to right on the bars or sticks I'm sticking with that. The old Delkim ST'S will move onto pike and roach fishing where I only use 2 rods anyway, so I'll have 2 spare indicators after picking up a £10 bargain on ebay when I bought another red one while a repair was being done after I left a dead battery in.

Oh yes, I had to get a new landing net mesh after catching and tearing my current one with a bundle of weed and a tufty, don't ask.

I've just bought a JRC defender mozzy front for my camo brolley, fingers crossed it will be compatible but only cost 9.99 so a bargain, most shops sell it for 40 odd quid.

That bargain then enabled me to get ripped off with a Jag catapult for around 23 quid lol   This because I spent about an hour trying to fix my old one to complete my prebaiting last time out at the end of my session, nearly rubbed my finger prints off pushing the damn rubber over the pouch holder things 😄

2 packs of standard choddy hooks, I tried the sharpened version but didn't like the extra wide hook eye - made my multi rigs too loose needing silicon.  Back to what works.

Fox Illusion leader/hooklink in 30lb - clear weedy pit so interested to see if it makes a difference over my usual leadless leader.

My 9.99 order quickly became over 60 quid - standard!

Jeez they’re not cheap even at 90’s prices .

I reckon the sensitivity would drive me bonkers 🤣🤣🤣🤣.

Good for you Nick I’m glad things are looking up for you mate .

Treating yourself to some new gear always perks us up I’m sure we’ll all agree .

I'm thinking at looking for a abit of a bigger Bivvy  looking at the Aqua M3 with Wrap or the Fox Retreat 1man +.

I wasn't happy with the pack-down size of the Fox Easy Shelter+, it was much bigger and unwieldy than it looks on camera, so now it's a backup bivvy I guess?

I went and bought one of the smallest pack-down sizes ever made! An original first-edition Aqua Atom, used once / like-new!

I used to love my EasyDomes, but yes the packed down size meant I had a full rod holdall and a bivvy bag the same size.

I tried putting it in a brolly pocket on a Royale rod holdall. It fitted in, but I broke the zip trying to do it up.

I went back to umbrella based shelters, which do fit in the holdall, the TFG Hardcore and Oval, followed by the RH Cabrio Hybrid Brolly.

The overwrap lives or lived in the car 'just in case'. The Hutchy Cabrio Hybrid umbrella comes with a lovely carry bag, but I put the brolly in the holdall even. The only improvement to the Hutchy brolly luggage range would be a brolly holdall/rod sling type holdall it could go in.

I reduce the sensitivity to the bare minimum needed, to reduce weed, wind and wave indications, but so I still get fish indication.

£240 I think I paid for the Delkim ST's, around £80 each with no receiver, but remember buying an extension box and leads, which I upgraded to Atts receiver and dongles around 2008/9 I guess. That was a couple of hundred pounds with free delivery and 5kg of boilies even then.

The current/90's price is a fair deal, very decent for an alarm from a very good manufacturer. Yes, I know there were some 'rain issues' with TXi's, but Delkim always did any repairs very quickly on my alarms when I left batteries in, or pulled battery connectors off with my heavy handed treatment.

I just felt now was the time for an upgrade, occasional issues with tiny faults, tinny speaker, occasional squeaks rather than bleeps and tones that didn't set right. Bearing in mind the ST's are 20 years old plus, they have lasted my abuse, fishing in rain and snow, being put away damp in the wet pouch.

Don't get wrong I can fit my bedchair in with my lad n dog on it, I do have room to put my recling chair for me to nod off on....when I have the Overwrap on.

If I move the buckets and dogs bowls to the other side/under bed for the night, I've plenty room to recline out on...

BUT it's a Comfortable space, if you know what I mean, if they both are coming more regularly now, then I think something g a little bigger maybe on the lookout.

Yep, Cyprinus is a copycat brand if I'm not mistaken - copying designs and releasing them at a cheaper price?

I did contact Cyprinus to see if they could supply me with a Bunker groundsheet, but no stock, I'm not sure it would have worked anyway, I believe the Bunker is bigger, maybe based on the Atom plus? I do know that they didn't manage to recreate the weight nor the pack down size of the Atom.

Cyprinus and Aqua are made in the same warehouse,  some cyprinus products are being sent in Aqua product packaging, seen a few online.

And another thing is - from reaching out to Cyprinus, Aqua, and Cipherspares - Cyprinus are the only ones who have responded up to now, it took them 20 minutes, that alone is making me look very closely at their gear now.

5kg of 20mm sticky krill. Usually use 16mm but none in stock so 20s it is. Hopefully shouldn't make too much of a difference 🤔

Korda shrink tube for rigs, rip off price but needed for a session tomorrow lol.

Weather is looking a bit wet for the next few days just hope I can catch a break in it to get set up 👌

Be a new net I plan on picking up today from the AD down the road the local tackle shops are screwing they had the guys in last week from one shop, I can't say I feel sorry for them they sell everything at full rrp anyhow. If they have the AD one for around 50 in stock might give it a go looks OK plenty of metal collars where it counts.

I’ve ordered 1500g of Essential B5 Boilie paste and liquid food being delivered tomorrow , I’ll be experimenting with making my huge hookbaits , texture , boiling times , sizes (40-60mm planned) ….in small batches keeping em in one piece yet hair mountable being the aim .

Also I’ve ordered some ready made Maver and Middy pole rigs for junior.

Avoiding the NGT rigs , blunt and cheap quality .

I've had a couple of little problems with my typhoon bivvy, the customer service has been spot on with spares delivered the next day.

I've used Middy years ago with Lily and Levi, they were always good quality.

Hope you get the base mix problems sorted, reckon it's tiny batches at a time

2x Delkim Safe-D V2 Carbon Snag Bars
2x Delkim NiteLite V2 Indication Set

One of my ND Tackle T10s snapped (along with a rubber strap for the magnetic butt rests - I look after my gear, the quality of ND Tackle (in my experience) is absolute trash, luckily I purchased on Amazon so it's all refunded) - I was going to use my Gardner Nano Bugs which I used for Perch, they had a really long drop so I shortened them and put some inline olivettes on them... however I needed snag ears but as I was ordering my finger slipped and I accidently ordered some NiteLite indicator sets.
