muftyboy
If you could only use one type of boilie for the rest of your fishing life, which one would it be? if i had the time [ and my missus would let me make them in the house] then it would be my own, shop bought would either be the cell,[please dont hate me ] or essential black snail, they are both proven carp catchers. mufty

garysj01
ABS, i have been pitching the Plan B and the Genesis against each other, there's not a lot of difference, but the Plan B seems to be edging its way forward.

grangemilky
Interesting to see who would still be catching on their chosen bait in 20 years. I wonder how long the cell will last as a carp catcher. I hear its 'blown' on a few lakes to date.
smufter
I've just started buying bait from a local lad...£5.00 per kilo. Tried his coconut boilies the other day. Mate used them too and had a nice 14lb Mirror on it within 10 minutes. Look great and smell gorgeous. He does quite a few other "flavours" too but I'll stick with the coconut for now. serbusfish
At the moment i'd say Garlic + Chilli boilies I bought off ebay, they produced 6 takes in 5 hours That was only one day though, going to stick with them and see if I have more success. smufter
Since I started to use the coconut boilies mentioned above, I've had a Common of 20 and two Mirrors of 22 and just under 26 on them in the last two sessions with an 11lb Common and an 8lb Mirror thrown in for good measure! My daughter also smashed her pb with a Mirror smack bang on 20lb during the same session I caught my larger fish. I'm sold on it!

Hi Mate, Where do you get these from? I'm in Hove and would be interested in these boilies, especially at that price!! In answer to the original question I'm torn between Cell & Dynamite Pineapple. It's obvious that Cell is an amazing bait but my PB was caught on Dynamite Pineapple so I'm drawn towards that as well.

The guy has a Facebook page and is based in Hastings, East Sussex. He does a number of different varieties, I am a big fan of the coconut (I guess it's his "version" of Cell) and have also used his Crab (which stink to high heaven!). I have been using the Coconut ones at Stream Valley Lakes in Crowborough which has always fished well on The Cell or Live System type boilies. I used the Crab ones at another local lake on a short session a couple of sundays ago, had a couple of screaming runs on them, hooked into one decent size fish but lost it on the way to the net, so I know that both types are "workers". If you want, I can PM you his facebook link. He does post out, I think he charges a set £7.00 to courier them no matter how much bait you order. He charges £5 a kilo but is talking about putting it up to £6k in the new year. I recommend his bait though. Rob
