busdaddy
Having posted a thread a while ago looking for peolpe who had used sub line and narrowing down my next line to sub or pro clear - I took the plunge for sub line mainly because there didn't seem to be much between them and my local tackle shop sold sub so I wanted to support them - anyway for those considering changing to Sub Line I HAVE used it and found the following which I hope helps: Casts very well in 15lb (very supple with virtually no memory "REALLY IMPRESSED") Does Sink VERY WELL (Ive found and I use it) Very Strong and abbrasion resistant (Thumbs UP) Overall QUALITY As a bench mark I used Daiwa Sensor for 2 years as recommended by other members and found it an ok/average line - This blows it out of the water (excuse the pun). Im not Danny's best mate or top of the Korda fan club but I do rate this line - hope this answers your questions - Tight Lines (Just off to Danny's for tea LOL)

toby2k2
Hey mate! Ive not long gone over to subline and im really impressed as well. For a sinking line it casts great! and it sinks great to. Ive used soft steal for years but wont be going back now.....
busdaddy
No ive used a few over the years and am really impressed with this - might give adrena line a go for my distance casting if lines this good.
neontrifle
I found korda Subline poor at sinking for a few weeks and was forever dipping the rod tips in to sink that last bit. I put 15lb which is a very thick 0.40mm....more like 20lb line However a few weeks later I bought some X line which sinks like a brick, my lake is 8 acres but has lots of islands so the longest cast are around 60 yards. Blow me down the subline started to work great, sinks and cast well. it is also abrasive and resiliant. maybe it neeeded time to settle So at least I can say Subline =good, xline=slighly better in the right situation. Only problem now is which spool to use.
fraserking
I have been using subline for about six weeks or so and find it excellent: quick sinking, casts well at the medium range (which is most of my fishing at the moment) and hitherto no problems with line twist. I have been a dyed in the wool Sensor user for years, but this is excellent.
ozzy1994
im another one for the subline

Mate, let me warn you off adrenaline if I can. I've fished for donkeys years and have used most lines, adrenaline is by far the worst and was on my reels for under 24 hours. The average size of the fish in my venue is 25-27lb with fish now pushing 40 and they don't give themselves up easily anymore, making any loss a bit of a kicking. I spooled up with that stuff for the reasons you mention and unfortunately or fortunately however you want to look at it hit a purple patch. Eleven runs in around eighteen hours with one fish gracing the bank, the rest were down to the line parting over bars or stretching so much that I could do nothing to stop them weeding me, it also floats like it's been greased. The best distance casting line I have ever used is catana.
busdaddy
Thanks for that - im surprised you have found it so pants when sub line is so good but dont doubt your review/opinion so although you have already said just for the record catana or pro clear ? as anyone tried the new glt distance line just to add confusion?? lol - cheers

Will be taking it off asap The local sp tried selling it to me, but wasn't convinced, so he told me about the ESP Syncro XT. Using it as we speak for the first time, only on the pit so doing short casts so can't comment on casting. Although, I've got it in 12lb, sinks great, and no kinking or whatnot. Only trouble it's give me was my own fault today. Only had a bream on it so far, but from what it's done so far I'm impressed. Ross.
