Best

Daiwa Sensor Carp Rods - had them over 10years and they are still like new.

Gardener Rod pod - still in use today although purchased in '93

Nash Outlaw Deluxe bed chair - the most comfortable piece of furniture I own.

Worst

Swing style bite indicators bought at a boot fair - have the sensitivity of a rapist.

Cheap bank sticks from the tackle shop bargain bucket - lost count how many I have replaced

Nash Formula One - never ever caught on it, not a sausage, nothing, not even a bite, absolutely zero, nil.

Best.....

1. TFG Matt Hayes 2.25lb TC Signature rods - £50 each and were still going strong when i sold them last year.

2. JRC STi 2 man Twin Skin Bivvy - Apart from the shrinkage and the small hole i put in myself whilst putting it away, im still using it 4 years later.

3. A tub of Dynamite Spicy Chicken wafters - I had my PB of 24lb 10oz and 2 other twenties and numorous other fish on them last spring when everything else was struggling. All that for £5.99 :D

Worst.....

1. My Nash Pursuit net - The cord snapped when i was using it for only the second session out. I fixed it myself and have had no problems with it since but you dont expect something like that to happen so soon to a £100 net do you? :?

2. A spool of ESP 18lb Ghost flourocarbon - It was way to thick and very difficult to handle for use as an hooklink. But some good as come out of it i suppose, i use it for my flourocarbon leaders now.

3. A Wychwood Rogue Big Pit 70 reel - I bought it for a reel for my first cheap spod set up. Thing is after a few sessions use, the bail arm rotor cracked and it now as a split in it. Its going in the bin when i sort it out from the cupboard

This'll please Nick. A thread dragged up from almost 4 years ago :D

Nowt wrong with that. He prefers old threads being bought up than new ones started on the same subject

I know. That was my point
