  1. Quality work, cheap and affective, sometimes i see pulses such as chickpeas in the big Tesco stores in the Asian sections, they sell 5- 10KG sacks for cheaper than the online stores, so alwasy worth having a look out in these places.

Yea I realise that and the corn and maple are cheap as well 20kg bags like about tenner
  2. had a good day mate pleasure to meet you top bloke & great company . the venue was a bit of a let down the so called just over 3 acre specimen lake was just over an acre in size lol .

and I was gutted when you lost what looked like a good fish and to no fault of your own , line got cut clean through on something sharp under the water !

I thought you did really well mate mastered the under arm flick to the margin spot where both your fish came from and confidently played the fish .

and was pleased to show you how simple things can be rig wise ,especially for someone starting out .

    next time better venue

first time out and you've got the one that got away story :wink: can't be bad .

  3. Always remember the first one I caught, people used to feed the ducks with bread and whilst Rudd fishing, I used to see these big black fish gulping down crusts by the island in Abington park lake. Bubble float , ten pound line and a bag of bread, 3 weeks later hooked one it scared me to death, old steel tank aerial rod and didn't know what a clutch was, some bloke came running with a landing net, and I was shaking so much he steadied the rod, happy days, but of all the fish I have caught over the years that one lives with me the most.

Smashing one thing you will never forget the first fish you caught they are good memories
