A 24lber from a few days back, caught from under the tips..... Short 4 inch rig, slack lined and locked up clutch...… 
Have locked the kit away for a couple of weeks now. Too tempting to nip over the lake with it in the van...…. Had a walk round last night and put about 1kg of bait in around the edges, no where in particular. I will try to do this a couple of times a week. Saw a few showing. Had I left the kit in the van I doubt I would have got home any time soon 😊

I did a 3 night session on my local club waters. I went on a lake that is fairly easy but had a lot of small ones in. I managed 8, that were mainly small, but had 2 over 21lb so was chuffed to bits with the results 

It's a never ending debate, I'm not sure if we will ever really know outside of a gut feel; what seems to be the case and works one day might not work the next or seem to be something else.
Fishing would soon get boring if we did know everything, most of my enjoyment is the chase (including dabbling in the bait quest) rather than the capture.

I think the plastic conduit may be worth a shot.....I may borrow some from work and give it a try and report back if I get chance

I've only gone and won myself a sonic bedchair, sleeping bag and pillow.  I don't know if they are any good but can't complain for FREE.

I know the feeling

Well used it for the first time yesterday and got to say I am mightily impressed with it. Casts well, but more importantly sinks well, which is what it's advertised to do! It hangs nicely through the rings, the only thing I can't comment on is it's fish playing properties, 'cos I blanked!
Got snagged up in a tree going for a really tight rig placement and had to pull for a break. Very strong, it went off like the crack from a rifle when it eventually did break. Just a little bit of curly wurly at the very end, snipped that off and it threaded perfectly through some new rig tubing. 
So far, a big thumbs up from me. Just got to wait until I hook into a fish now.
