Hello mate, I'm from taunton myself not a great deal that close but if your will to travel furzebray lakes they have a website really nice clean lake with some stunning fish couple of mid thirties and they fight like stink, I got flat roded by what I thought was going to be a lot bigger and turned out to be a 21lb.2oz stunning mirror. Its well worth a look.
As for creedy fished it a few years back and had some nice high double commons again a nice looking lake but does get busy and some of the undesirable angling noddies you unfortunately get at most day ticket waters. Hope this helps a bit mate let me know how u get on and best of luck.
