How do Chris Do you fish rivers or lakes cos I'm thinkin that zigs might be more of A still water tactic than river because in running water the bait would appear as if it's tethered and unnatural looking,though carp are inquisitive it could put them off. Last year over here 75% of my catches fell to zigs even in the freezing cold weather we had in Jan/Feb. With it being so hot down there do the carp spend alot of time cruising the surface and in the upper layers? Cheers mate Jan

Cheers for the reply Chris Ta for the tips, I looked at the gov site and was a bit preturbed by it! Dyou reckon new fake baits (still in sealed packaging) would get pulled by AQIS? Dyou guys down there use Zig rigs or is it mainly bottom baits etc? Saw the floods and a few of my mates in Brissy had to be moved to shelters and I think by the time I get out there things will have calmed down a bit!
