Hi All.. Im doing a 3 day session on Farlows Lake and wondered if any one had fished it or is currently fishing here and offer any advice on what the water is like and so on!!!! any info would be helpful... Cheers

Evening All, does anyone currently fish this lake or fished it recently ? If so can you offer any info please... Im guessing its not easy but I like a challenge, wondered what sort of fish and sizes have been caught ?? any help or info much apreciated.. cheers

if your going to fish roman try for peg 11 you will have some reeds to your left ,, if you walk around the edge of the lake going toward swim 12 following the reed line you can see a entry point in to the reeds where the carp enter them ..... myself and a few others always have caught good sized fish from this spot also towards the island on he corner is a good spot but becarful as their is old lilly roots their 2 but also good spot. ... for cats we fished 3 swims down from the hut on roman their is a deep hole where i have seen a 50lb cat caught from on a bit bit of meat. I have tried zigs on here as they work wel on the other lakes their but not been to successful on this lake.

I have been told the same by a close source to the person buying the lake

ha ha ...i really hope not...ive watched him on several occasions see people catch nice fish then go over and brag how how cought a bigger one from weybread pits... another rumour is some who is sponsored by tails up is going to be helping with the water ....

I fished it 4 weeks ago and the Baliff was working on the swims (using the word working losely) and a balding gentleman came down and was taking water samples away and was amazed to see the baliff working on the swims as he said the offer had been accepted and was with the solicetors.

I know an awful lot of pro fish bollies has gone in over the winter....

i joined caps for the first time last year did a lot on thier bovi 2 water had some lovely fish out biggest was a stunning 31lb common. also fished a few sessions on pebmarsh had a lot of nice looking fish biggest was 22lb. most of the members where really nice and always came round for a chat.. unfortunitly they do have a lot of members so if you fish weekends some of the waters are pretty busy but they have quite a few venues so you have a choice.

you both have a valid point as their are some nice fish in their it would be nice to see the water run properly and some addtional fish added...

yep and the rumour is its around £400 a ticket max 35 tickets

Hi Sam ,,if you do get your ticket let us know hw you get on as i live just round the corner from their and am looking for a new water to join... I have heard that it gets very weedy but not managed to check this out as yet... good luck mate..

I did a few sessions early last year before i moved to suffolk and Zigs worked a wonder had some good fish this way... roman is a good one to have a go at.. also a bonus of a cat if your lucky!!!!
