We are off to juvigny on Friday night which is only about 3 Hours from Calais. We are taking 3 vans with 2 in each. We Booked our tunnel crossing about 2 months before and it Worked out £65 each. It's spot on for us, Southampton to Juvigny in about 6-7 hours.

did you see many signs of carp, out of interest? it sounds like the lake was pretty barron when you went

i know from our trip last year that there was far too many cats in there,in my opinion. we were there for the carp and couldnt stop catching cats. we had two 88lb cats in the space of half an hour. im looking forward to our trip even more now, knowing some have been removed. to be honest iv never heard another bad word said about meadow and wayne is a good bloke who has a passion for meadow. i didnt set the world on fire with my results last year at meadow, the carp stayed on a wind at the opposite end all week, but its made me want to go back even more after seeing the carp the other boys caught

i fished it last september, and going back for a week this october. i like the lake alot but am not so keen on the amounts of catfish in there. whats your thoughts?

i think i will rejoin, but pick my moments at nutsey, avoiding weekends. its worth it really so i can get down to hatchets after the close season and embley is always good for a bit of fun. il probably see you on nutsey soon mate after iv been to wembley to see saints lift a trophy!

after coming off new forest water park im thinking about rejoining tvac again after a few years. does nutsey still get as packed? and have the fish in embley put any weight on?

i was speaking to someone who is on a syndicate on a similar size lake near to me. he said they have 15 on it but around 9 of them rarely fish it but always keep their place because there is some lovely fish in there. i think he said they pay around £300 a year. where abouts is your lake?. im very interested, let me know if something comes up

we fished meadow last september and are going again this october. we had some cracking carp up to 66lb. it might have been the time of year, but we were taken over by the cats in there. we had quite a few including two 88lbers. most of the carp were caught from the first swim on the dam and the left side of the double swim. they stay with the wind. cracking lake and wayne is a top bloke and will help with anything. good luck mate

manor is a better bet. the swims are more spaced out than st johns. i fished there last summer and had some cracking fish. i fished st johns once and wouldnt fancy it again
