Thank you for the reply's. I got a lot of information and have walked the river now every evening have spotted the fish in the same areas each time so thats a good place to start.

I have spotted a few carp along the river between new mills yard and hellesdon mill. Has anyone fished for them? Do they take boilie? I have also been told that there are some areas that are not to safe to fish at night. Any advice would be apprecited thanks
