Hi tim, yes mate im from stafford! I do know a few waters in and around stafford, bishton isnt my kinda place either! Only fished there once and not been bk since!! I tend to fish further afield to be honest, but if u wanna tag along thats sound with me, im sure we could sort a few sessions out somewhere!!

Is this the place that insist you use richworth baits,and has those horrible huts placed around the banks instead of letting you use a bivvy??

I always phone and book,dont know how busyit gets at weekends as i usually fish midweek! Its not a biglake so peg decision isnt all that important, bait presentation is pretty vital though mate,the bottom is mainly silt and its the nasty smelling stuff too! Take a rod pod too as the pegs are boards!!

I certainly wouldnt call it a runs water, i have fished 48hrs there before without a single bleep, but also had 3 fish over 20lb in 24hrs Its defo worth a go mate!! Good luck.

Hi mate, leighton pools near codsall wood is a pretty good day ticket water! Some good fish in there to be caught if you prepared to put the effort in! Not sure about if they would allow you to night fish on your own though,think you have to be 16 or over!
