Hi,thinking about having a dabble on here because ive heard theres some decent carp to be had.I just wandered if anyone on here has any info on the place? Baits,tactics etc.

Woodlakes in norfolk has very nice log cabins and the lake is on your doorstep,worth a look.

You aint gona get a better load of tips than that anywhere,ime impressed

fished taverham a few times and it isnt an easy water,but with a bit of thought the rewards are there to be had.Theres loads of tench in there aswell and they do take almost anything you put out there. Ive seen chick peas used with good success so think outside the box abit and theres every chance you will have a few out.They can be had on floaters in the right conditions so always take a bag with you incase,stalking em with a light float set up is also a good way to avoid the dreaded tench,good luck.

hi stephen,hall farm is worth a go this time of the year mate,its got a decent stock of carp in there and they do go up to high 20s aswell. If you fancy more of a challenge theres greens pit,less stock but some big old lumps in there,hope that helps.

hi stuart,from what ive been told by a good friend thats caught alot of carp out of there you want to be fishing a bright hookbait like pineapple pop ups.The championship lake is the bigger lake with the island and he catches fishing tight to the far margin in the bay thats on that island.The other lake with the lodges is again fishing tight to the margins,he also puts a decent bit of bait out.hope this helps you catch a few more.

hi all,ime taking my family to the burnham on sea holiday village in june,has anyone got any info on the specimen lake there. They say theres carp in there to nearly 30lb,is this true? Any info on tactics would be helpfull also,cheers

ormesby broad has got some big carp on it but they are up the far end where theres no bank access.ive seen em for myself so they are there but catching em is something else.spent many a summer in my youth fishing on there with my own boat but never came close to catching the carp.
