well if ya drive thats a help Right Oham lakes near Alford is good its four lakes shop and cafe on site tickets from office - 01507 450623 not much information on this but fun to find out yourself Lollycocks pond in sleaford-18lb carp, catfish night fishing no info but google. The burton brick ponds- 7 acre lake roach perch tench eels 25lb+ carp and 30lb pike £3.50 a day £5.00 nighters. Rosewood fishery- www.Rosewoodfishery.co.uk carp 21lb+ £4 days ticket Boston- youve got Ravesby resevoir www.Revesbystate.co.uk is a members only lake but well worth it, and allows nights too And finally one in Addlethorpe called Mill road lake-01754 767586 no boilies or pellets though best carp from this is 26lb+ cafe and tackle shop on site. hope you got enough information to get started do you drive is so i have a few good lakes for ya but dont want to go into it for you to say i dont drive as they are in aby.little carlton, and just past louth up the main road there is a massive one im not too knowledgeable about and a couple in hogsthorpe let me know if ya drive and i'll send ya more info

Tom still runs it but it is so full of small fish that youd have real trouble targeting the bigger ones. though there did used to be a year group of older bigger fish that used to patrol the far margins. it used to be easy to catch these bigger fish with marginal traps but now its all covered in canadian pond weed. covering any shallower areas, the weed is very abrasive and most fish tend to burrow under it, summer evenings on floaters might see you able to select fish overall far too many tiddlers and no nights no more. the large gravel beds and humps are brilliant for runs but again very abrasive through mussels. Its been said that there is a thirty in there for the past thirteen years at a time when there definately wasn't. i just dont think it will ever be a big fish water most fish top out low twenties at a push. On the trouble side of leicester lakes fished here for years never had any.
