to be honest, if your inexperienced with leadcore, i'd buy 1 ready made. it's the safest option.

i don't use leadcore often, but esp & kryston score gold are both very good.

http://www.fishandfly.co.uk/knots/needle/index.html this shows the needle knot using fly backing line. it's the same for leadcore, except you must remove about an inch or so of the inner lead.

they've split the lake into 2. a 7 acre specimen lake (dam end), & a 5 acre runs water. -

easiest way i find, is to use a pop-up, with a shot on the hair. trim the bait so that it sinks as slowly as possible.

if i owned a fishery, anyone found littering would be banned on the spot. we owe it to the the owner & the wildlife to be more respectful of our surroundings.

the monument fishery are glad they've got cctv. just read their catch report. they've had 3 new unhooking mats nicked.

with a little pva tape to hold the 2 together during the cast, i think that rig could work very well.

i do the same, but with esp striptease (usually). this knot has never failed me.

i voted short, for most of my rigs. less to tangle, & carp hit the weight quicker.
