  1. A local club to me has a rule of no floating baits or zig rigs, so anglers were fishing baits just under the surface with a float. When bailiffs found out what was going on it was amended to baits were not allowed to be fished in the top 18inches of water. I must admit that if I can surface fish I would have more distance between the float and hookbait, so that does look rather freaky.

I agree with Nick's theory . The float stops would probably have been moved to alter the depth , the same as you you would try different depths with a Zig .

    A section for bait boats

assess every situation if it’s cold moody or hot just bait enough to get the bite then you can add more and more once the action starts. Wasn't the baiting pyramid was a “proper pre bait tactic” a week or so before you go Chuck it all in far and wide to get everything feeding and then get less and less feed as you got closer to fishing in more of a tighter zone then essentially feed singles and stringers

Looks a bit like the float and ledger set up from years back used to be the crossover from waggler fishing to big leads on the bottom, you end up needing to step up line size and rod rings, Walk out the shop with a carp rod and baitrunner.

Good money mate I charge 35 a side for gutter and fascia cleans I have been doing it for years same for window cleaning. I'm just chuffed I can still do it at my age, well used to be able, ladders sold yesterday so no more nipping out to do a quick job.

    New purchases

20kg of boilies ordered, I've always wanted a decent yellow banana boilie, turns out the bait company I use had the same idea, will go nicely with my yellow winter spod mix.
